Disease: Hashimoto's thyroiditis Hashimoto's thyroiditis Graves' disease (= Morbus Basedow)
Symptoms: Initially hyperthyroidism: nervousness, weight loss, insomnia, tachycardia, heat intolerance etc. Later gradual transition to chronic hypothyroidism: fatigue, decreased concentration, weight gain, constipation, cold intolerance etc. Hyperthyroidism: exophthalmos, struma, tachycardia (Merseburg triad)
